Business Restructuring & Reorganization Staff Attorney

Staff Attorney – Business Restructuring & Reorganization Jones Day is seeking a Staff Attorney with 4–6 years of experience to join our Business Restructuring and Reorganization practice group. This is a firmwide, non‑partner track position that plays a critical role in supporting the Firm’s bankruptcy and restructuring representations across all offices. Responsibilities Coordinate, manage, and prepare required court disclosures in connection with bankruptcy matters, including the Firm’s retention as counsel to debtors or official committees, and in special counsel engagements. Support legal research and writing initiatives, including practice‑focused publications addressing bankruptcy, restructuring, distressed mergers and acquisitions, and related issues. Qualifications 4–6 years of experience supporting Chapter11 proceedings, out‑of‑court restructurings, and distressed acquisitions with a focus on company‑side engagements. Strong writing, organizational, and time‑management skills and the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. Members in good standing of the Ohio Bar. Salary and Benefits Salary range: $180,000 – $220,000. Actual salary will be commensurate with the candidate’s qualifications and relevant experience.
