This includes actively communicating with all departments to ensure all general maintenance is performed routinely. Knowledge of products and locations will be utilized when assisting and engaging with customers to provide an outstanding customer experience.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONSReasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. Duties, responsibilities, and activities may change at any time with or without notice.· Assisting in the loading and unloading of delivery trucks· Check and validate packing slips and truck logs when supporting the movement and replacement of inventory on the property· Communicate with team members to assist customers with questions and inquires by providing strong product knowledge and location· Improve and maintain presentation of inventory, including deadheading and watering of live inventory· Accept any assignment on the general floor to improve the maintenance and housekeeping of the propertyCOMPETENCIES · Customer Focus· Communication· Ability / Initiative to Learn· ReliablePREFERRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCEWork or personal experience in the retail, horticultural, or gardening fields preferred. A demonstrated ability to offer excellent customer service skills, and strong verbal communication skills.WORK ENVIRONMENTThis job operates in an active retail store environment.
