Now hiring for a Legal Assistant Location: Greeneville, TN Pay Rate: $15.00 per hour Schedule: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Are you an organized professional with strong customer service skills and a passion for helping people? We are seeking an Administrative Assistant to support the daily operations of a busy law office. This position offers the opportunity to work closely with attorneys, staff, and clients while gaining valuable experience in a professional office environment.

Education Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent required. Additional administrative or legal office training is a plus.

Experience Requirements

Previous administrative, receptionist, or office experience preferred. Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office applications. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Strong organizational and time management abilities. Ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Professional demeanor and strong attention to detail. Ability to maintain strict confidentiality.

Job Duties

Answer phones and greet clients professionally. Schedule appointments and maintain attorney calendars. Prepare, organize, and file legal documents. Manage client files and maintain accurate records. Respond to emails and direct inquiries appropriately. Scan, copy, and distribute documents. Handle incoming and outgoing mail. Order office supplies and maintain inventory as needed. Maintain confidentiality of sensitive client information. Perform general office support and administrative duties. Assist attorneys and staff with special projects as assigned.

Physical Capabilities

Ability to remain seated or stand for extended periods while performing office tasks. Frequent use of computers, telephones, and other standard office equipment. Occasional lifting or moving of office supplies and materials up to 20 pounds. Ability to communicate effectively with coworkers, customers, and visitors.
