Job Title: Automotive Mechanic I Location: Livonia, MI Zip Code: 48150 Duration: 6 Months Pay Rate: $19 - $21/hr. Job Summary: The Automotive Mechanic I will modify cars and trucks in a second stage manufacturing environment, performing a wide range of component removals, modifications and installations. The Automotive Mechanic I will be mentored and supported by team members on project work and customer interactions. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Perform vehicle upfits by following work instructions and build procedures.
• Remove and install mechanical and electrical system components.
• Read, interpret, and follow assembly procedures.
• Maintain vehicle records by entering required information into the build book system.
• Keep shop equipment operating by following operating instructions, troubleshooting

breakdowns, performing preventive maintenance, calling for repairs. * Participate in daily shop organization and clean-up. Education and Experience (required):

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1-2 years of previous experience required.
• Mechanical ability and ability to operate shop equipment.
• MUST have rolling toolbox

Education and Experience (preferred):

• Certificate in Automotive Technology or related.
• National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) Certification(s).
• State Mechanic Certification(s).
• Valid driver"s license.
