Job Description
Title: Labor & Delivery Nurse - Perinatal

Schedule:
- Weekend requirement: every other weekend
- Must commit to working 3 of these 5 holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day

Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of obstetric/L&D experience
- Valid RN license in California
- Current certifications: AWHONN Advanced or NCC EFM, ACLS (AHA), BLS (AHA), NRP, FHM
- LA Fire Card within the last 30 days
- Experience with fetal heart monitoring and high-risk antepartum care

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Monitor fetal heart rates and assess high-risk antepartum patients
- Assist/scrub for C-sections and support vaginal deliveries
- Provide newborn care at delivery
- Float to postpartum as needed

Compliance / Notes:
- References: Two references covering one year within the last three years (charge RN/lead acceptable)
- Requested time off (RTO) must be included at submission
- All travelers expected to float between facilities within the state; refusal may result in termination or forfeiture of guaranteed hours
