Opportunity Overview Central Maine Healthcare is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Primary Care Physician to join its growing network of primary care providers serving the Lewiston-Auburn region. This position offers the opportunity to practice patient-centered medicine within an integrated healthcare system that includes a flagship 250-bed medical center, specialty services, and a large network of physicians and advanced practice providers. Position Highlights Outpatient primary care practice Manage a diverse patient population across all adult age groups Collaborative care model with access to specialists throughout the health system Established referral network EPIC or comparable electronic medical record environment Opportunity to participate in medical education and residency training programs Supportive leadership and physician-focused culture Competitive compensation package with productivity incentives Comprehensive benefits package including health, dental, vision, retirement plan, CME allowance, malpractice coverage, and paid time off Responsibilities Provide comprehensive preventive, acute, and chronic disease management Diagnose and treat a wide range of medical conditions Develop individualized treatment plans and coordinate patient care Promote wellness and preventive health initiatives Collaborate with specialists, nursing staff, and care management teams Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation Participate in quality improvement and patient satisfaction initiatives Qualifications MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine Eligible for Maine medical licensure Strong clinical and interpersonal skills Commitment to patient-centered, high-quality care Central Maine Medical Center offers competitive compensation and a reasonable compensation estimate for this role is $278,000 to $335,000. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
