What You'll Do:

• Perform technically proficient 2D, M-mode, and Doppler cardiac exams on adult and pediatric patients
• Coordinate exam scheduling, patient transport, and billing procedures in collaboration with hospital departments
• Assist cardiologists during exams by preparing and measuring M-modes and exchanging diagnostic information
• Manage dictation delivery, pickup, and distribution timely and efficiently
• Respond to patient needs during procedures and monitor changes in patient condition report to medical staff
• Order supplies, maintain clean and organized exam rooms, and log patient data accurately
• Participate in departmental quality improvement activities and ongoing professional development
• Share responsibility for on-call coverage for emergency echocardiograms outside standard hours

What You Need:

• A.R.D.M.S./CCI registered or registry eligible, or comparable national accreditation
• State of New Mexico Echo Sonographer License
• BLS certification from American Heart Association
• High school diploma or equivalent plus two-year allied health education (preferred)
• Effective communication, strong organizational skills, manual dexterity, and ability to work under stress
• Two or more years of echocardiography experience (preferred)
