Manage event budgets meticulously, tracking expenses and identifying opportunities for upselling additional services or enhancements. Coordinate all aspects of event setup and execution using advanced event management software and CRM systems to streamline communication and documentation. Oversee catering arrangements, banquet setups, guest services, and technical requirements to ensure a flawless experience. Lead a team of staff or vendors during events, providing clear direction and ensuring excellent customer service standards are maintained. Implement effective marketing strategies for events through various channels to maximize attendance and engagement. Conduct post-event evaluations to gather feedback, analyze successes, identify areas for improvement, and report on key metrics. Uphold high standards of hospitality industry best practices by managing guest relations and ensuring exceptional hospitality experiences. Qualifications Proven experience in event planning within the hospitality or related industries with a strong portfolio of successful events. Excellent negotiation skills with the ability to upsell services confidently while maintaining positive vendor relationships. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) along with familiarity with event management software and CRM systems. Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple events simultaneously under tight deadlines. Exceptional communication skills for client interactions, team leadership, and vendor negotiations. Solid understanding of budgeting processes, contract management, catering operations, and banquet services. Experience in marketing events effectively across digital platforms to boost visibility and attendance. Demonstrated organizational skills with attention to detail from initial planning stages through post-event follow-up. Hospitality industry experience is highly preferred; knowledge of guest services and event logistics is essential. Ability to lead teams efficiently while fostering a collaborative environment focused on delivering outstanding events.
