About Firm:
A highly respected, nationally recognized Am Law firm is seeking a talented Land Use Associate to join its Real Estate and Land Use practice group in Century City, California .
This is an exciting opportunity to work with a sophisticated team handling complex real estate development and land use matters. The ideal candidate will have experience advising clients across the full spectrum of land use and natural resources matters, including due diligence, entitlements, and environmental review.
Position Highlights:
• Hybrid work environment (3 days onsite in Century City)
• Work on sophisticated land use, environmental, and real estate development matters
• Exposure to high-profile California development projects

• Work with sophisticated clients on complex regulatory and entitlement matters
Responsibilities:
• Advise clients on a broad range of land use and natural resources matters
• Handle due diligence related to development and real estate projects
• Assist with entitlement processes, approvals, and permitting matters
• Support environmental review matters, including CEQA analysis and compliance
• Analyze zoning, regulatory, and municipal issues impacting development projects
• Collaborate with attorneys, clients, consultants, and government agencies
Qualifications:
• +1 years of relevant law firm experience preferred
• Strong background in land use, environmental, zoning, or real estate development matters
• Experience with due diligence, entitlements, and environmental review under CEQA required
• Excellent legal research, writing, and analytical skills
• Strong academic credentials preferred
Salary and Other Compensation:
The annual salary for this position is between [$225,000-250,000] Factors which may affect pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
