Charge RN Burn Unit

HCA Healthcare is seeking a Charge RN for our Burn Unit within the Healthcare & Medical Services department. As the Charge RN, you will provide clinical leadership and shift coordination for a specialized inpatient burn unit, ensuring safe, high-quality, and compassionate care for adult and/or pediatric burn patients. You will oversee patient flow, assign and support nursing staff, and serve as a clinical resource for complex burn care, including fluid resuscitation, wound care, pain management, infection prevention, and rehabilitation-focused nursing interventions. This role includes direct patient care as well as supervision of nursing staff and collaboration with physicians, therapists, case managers, and other members of the interdisciplinary team to deliver evidence-based, patient-centered care. You will monitor clinical outcomes, support adherence to burn center protocols, and help maintain regulatory and accreditation standards. As a Charge RN, you will mentor newer nurses, support ongoing staff education, and promote a culture of safety, teamwork, and continuous improvement consistent with HCA Healthcare’s commitment to innovation, integrity, and patient-centered care. You will participate in staffing and resource allocation, assist in responding to emergencies and rapid clinical changes, communicate effectively with patients and families about treatment plans, and contribute to quality initiatives and performance improvement projects.
