Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• 3 years of Medical Surgical Unit experience.

• 3 months of RPMS (Resource and Patient Management System) experience is preferred.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Arizona license or compact license (required for submission).

• This role will require floating to multiple units

• Local & travel allowed.

• No current placement allowed at Program: Medefis Program - Tsehootsooi Medical Center.

Additional Details:

Flu declinations accepted on condition traveler wears a mask at all times.

Required Skills/Experience:
1 year pediatric experience required. Must be comfortable with both adult and pediatric patients.

Special Requests:
RTOs for Thanksgiving and Christmas will not be acceptable.

Unit Details:
Adult, geriatric, and pediatric patients. Ratios: Non-Covid typically 4:1, max 5:1; Covid patients typically 2:1, max 3:1.
May be assigned to help cover flu immunization clinics as needed.

Shift & Scheduling:
Typical schedule is 36 hours one week and 48 hours the next, plus up to 1 on-call shift per week.
Must be flexible to work other shifts, weekends, and holidays as needed.
15-minute call response time for all units with a call requirement.

Floating Requirements:
Occasionally expected to float to other departments in which they are qualified to work. xhyhwjd This could include taking a patient load if experienced and competent in that setting or task-oriented support such as answering call lights and phones.

14 days maximum time off

1 Charge/Lead/Supervisor reference required from within the last 12 months
