Social Media Marketing Manager

Job description

We’re looking for a creative, strategic, and trend-savvy Social Media Manager to lead TikTok and Instagram for three beauty brands.

This is a hands-on role: you’ll plan, film, edit and publish content, owning most day-to-day production yourself. You’ll develop each brand’s social strategy and turn ideas into compelling content that grows awareness, engagement, community, and sales.

Strong AI video and image creation skills are a must. You should be able to use AI tools to create and refine polished, on-brand visual content and combine it with original footage and photography.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Develop and execute social strategies and content calendars across all three brands.
• Personally film, edit, and publish TikToks, Reels, Stories, and other social content.
• Appear on camera for product demonstrations, tutorials, and other brand content.
• Use AI tools to generate and edit videos and images, develop creative concepts, and test content variations.
• Own most content production independently, from concept through final delivery.
• Create strong hooks, captions, calls to action, and visuals tailored to each brand.
• Identify relevant beauty and social trends and adapt them to each brand’s voice and visual identity.
• Manage day-to-day posting and community engagement across TikTok and Instagram.
• Work with influencers and UGC creators as needed while remaining the primary content creator.
• Track performance, test new formats, and use results to improve audience growth, engagement, and sales.
• You may also work with Shopify, Klaviyo, Awin, LTK, and related platforms to support ecommerce, email marketing, and affiliate or creator initiatives.

• WE’RE LOOKING FOR SOMEONE WHO
• Has 2+ years of social media experience and a strong portfolio of TikTok and Instagram content.
• Has proven hands-on experience creating and editing AI videos and images. This is a required skill.
• Can independently take content from an idea through filming, editing, and publishing.
• Is comfortable and engaging on camera.
• Has experience managing multiple brands or accounts and maintaining distinct brand identities.
• Understands beauty, haircare, skincare, cosmetics, fashion, wellness, or DTC brands.
• Has a strong visual eye and understands short-form storytelling, hooks, and what makes people stop scrolling.
• Can refine AI-generated content for visual quality, product accuracy, and brand consistency.
• Understands social analytics and can explain how their work improved performance.
• Is organized, resourceful, and comfortable managing competing priorities independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Can work full-time, in-house. Familiarity with Shopify, Klaviyo, Awin, or LTK is a plus.

You’re a hands-on creator with a strategic mindset. You understand culture, trends, storytelling, and what makes people want to watch, share, save, comment, and buy.

You can make three different brands feel unique, relevant, and exciting. You enjoy being behind and in front of the camera, and you know how to use AI video and image tools to expand what you can create.
