Accounting Clerk – Jessup, MDCFS is partnering with a repeat client, a well-established family owned dealership in Jessup, MD. Due to growth in the business and a recent promotion, they are looking to add an Accounting Clerk to their growing team!This position plays a key role in supporting the Finance Department through deal processing, title and registration administration, bookkeeping support, and general office operations. The ideal candidate is organized, accurate, a self-starter, computer savvy, and comfortable managing multiple priorities and wearing many hats in a fast-paced environment.Reports to the Office Manager (who was placed by CFS!)Overview of the Accounting Clerk:Maintain accurate financial, operational, sales, and title recordsAssist with bookkeeping, AP invoice processing, and payment preparationAnswer and route incoming phone calls in a timely manner, while providing excellent customer serviceMaintain organized digital and physical filing systemsProvide administrative assistance across various departmentsManage title and registration processes, including preparing, reviewing, and submitting in-state and out-of-state documentation accurately and within required deadlinesCoordinate with lenders, motor vehicle agencies, and tag services to ensure timely completion of title and registration transactionsTrack outstanding paperwork and follow up on title, registration, funding, and compliance requirementsEnter vehicle inventory, purchase invoices, and related information into the dealership management systemHandle documentation and processing for used motorcycle purchases, trade-ins, and loan payoffs, including preparing associated paymentsSubmit service contracts, warranties, and other Finance & Insurance (F&I) productsQualifications for the Accounting Clerk:Previous administrative, bookkeeping, tag and title, and/or dealership experience preferredExperience using Microsoft Office Suite, including basic Excel skillsMust possess meticulous attention to detail, organizational and time management skills and be a reliable team playerMust be able to pass a background check and drug screenSchedule: 100% on-site in Jessup, MD.40 hours per week:Tuesday-Friday: 9:30 AM – 5:30 PMSaturday: 9:00 AM – 4:00 PMSalary: $45,000-$50,000 depending on experience#INSEP2026
