Yard Forklift Operator

Job Number: 10184 Location: Tualatin, OR Pay: $22.00 per hour Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM (Overtime as required, occasional weekends) Temp‑to‑hire Our client is seeking an experienced Yard Forklift Operator to support daily yard operations by safely and efficiently moving lumber and plywood products. This role involves operating large rough‑terrain forklifts in an outdoor yard environment, working in all weather conditions, and maintaining a high standard of safety, organization, and communication. This is a critical role for daily operations and requires someone who can work independently while staying connected with the yard and shipping teams. Key Responsibilities: Pull orders accurately and safely Stage material for outbound trucks Load and unload flatbeds and vans Handle mixed loads including lumber units and plywood Operate large rough‑terrain forklifts Maintain clean and organized yard lanes Communicate clearly with truck drivers and team members Put incoming material away in proper yard zones Qualifications: Prior forklift experience required Experience operating large rough‑terrain forklifts preferred Ability to work in outdoor environments in rain, heat, and changing weather Ability to work independently without constant supervision Benefits: Insurance 100% – including for spouse – paid by employer Holiday, Vacation – 2 weeks after 1 year, Sick, 401k, Annual Bonus How to Apply: Call View phone number on click.appcast.io and speak to one of our recruiters.
