Work Environment

The work environment at Restore Strength is both supportive and collaborative. Operating onsite, you will work alongside a multidisciplinary team of experienced professionals, including occupational therapists, rehabilitation aides, and administrative staff, all dedicated to delivering exceptional patient care. Our clinic is designed to provide a welcoming atmosphere that encourages patients to engage actively in their rehabilitation process. Your work schedule will typically be Monday to Friday, with options for either 9 am to 5 pm or 8 am to 4 pm shifts, promoting a balanced work-life dynamic.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' physical conditions, taking into account their medical history and personal goals to develop individualized treatment plans.
• Utilize a variety of therapeutic techniques, including manual therapy, exercise prescriptions, modalities, and neuromuscular re-education, to address specific patient needs.
• Monitor patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary based on functional outcomes and clinical judgment.
• Engage in clinical teaching by supervising and mentoring interns, students, and other staff, fostering a learning environment that contributes to their professional growth.
• Collaborate with other healthcare providers to ensure a well-rounded approach to rehabilitation, contributing to team discussions regarding patient care strategies.
• Participate in the development and implementation of research initiatives, focusing on improving clinical practices within the orthopedic specialty.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our clinic serves a diverse patient population, including athletes recovering from injuries, individuals undergoing post-surgical rehabilitation, and those managing chronic musculoskeletal conditions. As an Orthopedic Physical Therapist, you will focus on enhancing patients' physical capabilities, reducing pain, and restoring function to help them achieve their personal and functional goals. Your compassionate approach will be key in building relationships with patients, ensuring they feel supported throughout their rehabilitation journey.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program is required. A Master's Degree is preferred, as it reflects a higher level of expertise.
• Active New York State Physical Therapy license, with the ability to demonstrate knowledge of current best practices in orthopedic therapy.
• At least 2 years of experience as a physical therapist, with specific focus on orthopedic rehabilitation.
• Certification in Orthopedic Physical Therapy is preferred but not mandatory.
• Strong clinical assessment skills, combined with exceptional interpersonal communication abilities that foster trust and engagement with patients.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working in an outpatient orthopedic environment, utilizing hands-on techniques to facilitate recovery.
• Proven track record of success in managing a caseload efficiently while delivering high-quality patient care.
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems to document patient progress and treatment plans accurately.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 90,000 to 110,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition, our comprehensive benefits package includes:
