Commercial Property Accountant in Miami Beach - Direct Hire

Job Title
A privately held, entrepreneurial, and retail-focused commercial real estate company with expertise encompassing the various facets of real estate investments, entitlement, redevelopment, and asset management seeks qualified candidate with strong accounting / bookkeeping, communication, and teamwork skills to support a portfolio of single and multi-tenant retail assets in Miami-Dade County. Essential duties and responsibilities include:
- Property AR and AP
- CAM RECS
- Track and monitor tenant ledgers
- Post and process journal entries at the end on month
- Issue and prepare invoices and apply payments
- Reconciling intercompany AR/AP
- Perform credit card reconciliations
- Assist Controller in the processing of balance sheets, income statements and other financial statements
- Assist other departments such Property Management and Brokerage with reviewing of expenses and payment processing
- Update financial data in a timely and accurate manner
- Ad hoc accounting projects
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting/ Bookkeeper certificate - preferred
- 3-5 years' experience working in Commercial Real Estate Accounting a MUST
- Experience in QuickBooks and Yardi Voyager highly preferred
- Knowledge of NNN (Triple Net) leases
- Organized hands on
- Good judgment
- Position requires to work in the office 100%
