About the Role

The Company is in search of a Chief Lending and Investment Officer (CLIO) to provide strategic leadership for its complex lending portfolio. The successful candidate will be responsible for setting and meeting annual lending goals, managing the entire loan lifecycle, and identifying opportunities for new lending products. This role requires a deep understanding of community development financing, an enterprise-wide perspective, and a collaborative approach to team leadership. The CLIO will also be involved in capital raising, risk management, and ensuring compliance with regulatory guidelines. Experience with CDFIs, a commitment to rural and Indigenous community development, and a proven track record in relationship management and organizational leadership are essential. Applicants for the CLIO position at the company should have a minimum of 10 years' senior management experience in community development finance, investment management, banking, or financial services. A strong background in CDFIs, including knowledge of federal regulatory guidelines and compliance management, is necessary. The ideal candidate will have a record of success in capital raising, be adept at problem-solving, and possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills. A degree in finance, business administration, or a related field is a plus. The role demands a high level of integrity, accountability, and the ability to inspire and lead a team.
