Desktop Support TechnicianWe are seeking a Desktop Support Technician to work as part of a team of IT professionals who provide in-house technical PC hardware and software support. They work with a variety of equipment and systems including desktops, laptops, network connectivity, and Windows software. In addition, they implement special projects which require researching new technology and solving complex problems.What You'll DoAssist personnel with PCs, servers, networks, printers, software, and phonesPackage, test, deploy, update, and troubleshoot softwareCreate and maintain desktop imagesPerform routine network and PC installation, and troubleshoot, maintain, and resolve any related problemsSetup new users in our systemsRemove/disable system access for departing employeesAnalyze desktop hardware and software processes for efficiency and needsDocument processes and proceduresCoordinate upgrade of desktop equipment and softwareMaintain ticketing system for prioritizing tasksEscalate or delegate issues to other IT members if requiredBe the primary point of contact for personnel with any IT question or taskManage Active Directory and Exchange users and groupsMaintain phone system users, teams, and call flow logicGrant/revoke access to various internal and external systemsTrain personnel on how to best use the different systems and toolsFollow PCI compliance guidelinesWhat You'll Need2+ years of IT experienceTechnical experience working within: VOIP Phone Systems (Fuze preferred), CRM/ERP (Netsuite preferred), Automated Software Deployment, Virtualization Technologies (VMware, VirtualBox, HyperV ), Windows Desktop and Server OS, Active Directory, O365 Exchange and Azure AD, Microsoft Office 365, DNS and DHCP, and Ticketing Software (Zoho Preferred)CompTIA, A + or equivalent.Problem analysis & resolution skills with the ability to logically progress troubleshooting and shift between and prioritize tasksThe ability to plan and organize work with a strong attention to detailExceptional oral and written communication skillsAbility to work independently as well as part of a teamWho You AreWe take our guiding values seriously.
