Controls Engineer I/IIOur client, a leading automotive manufacturing company, is seeking a Controls Engineer I/II to join their team. As a Controls Engineer I/II, you will be part of the Engineering Department supporting the Manufacturing, Production, and Continuous Improvement Teams. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities, and leadership experience which will align successfully in the organization.Job Title: Controls Engineer I/II Location: Holland, MI Pay Range: $30-34/hr. (shift differential of + $1/hr.) Shift: 2nd (230-1030p)What's the Job?Provide technical support to manufacturing, engineering, and set-up personnel throughout all phases of production.Troubleshoot, implement, and maintain PLC, robotics, vision, and servo control systems.Working in a clean room environmentDrive continuous improvement initiatives focused on OEE, downtime reduction, scrap reduction, and efficiency improvements.Perform process verification and support quality, ISO, and IATF compliance activities.Hands-on and on manufacturing floorWhat's Needed?Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology, or related field; or equivalent controls troubleshooting experience.Experience with PLCs, robotics, vision systems, and servo controls.Knowledge of Allen-Bradley, Siemens, Fanuc, Denso, Cognex, Keyence, Beckhoff, Wago, or similar automation platforms.Strong troubleshooting, project management, and root cause analysis skills.Ability to communicate effectively and work independently or within cross-functional teams.What's in it for me?Opportunity to work with advanced automation and manufacturing technologies.Exposure to high-impact continuous improvement and capital projects.Collaborative and innovative engineering environment.Professional growth and career advancement opportunities.Competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits package.
