Overview
Radiology Tech – MRI Tech travel assignment in Carbondale, Illinois. Start date: 08/31/2026 for 13 weeks. Weekly pay range: $3,112–$3,272 with guaranteed hours of 36 per week. Shift: 6:00 AM–3:30 PM, Monday through Thursday. Setting: hospital. This assignment includes weekend/call coverage approximately every 8 weeks, with duties that may span Monday through Sunday. This is a travel - temporary assignment managed through Healthforce Healthcare LLC.

Responsibilities
- Perform MRI imaging studies across eligible anatomy with emphasis on patient safety and image quality
- Prepare and position patients, explain procedures, and monitor for patient comfort during scans
- Operate and optimize MRI equipment, ensuring proper protocol selection and image acquisition
- Adhere to safety guidelines, including radiation safety principles and infection control
- Collaborate with radiologists and other radiology staff to ensure timely, accurate imaging and proper documentation

Requirements
- Active MRI technologist credentialing/licensure as required by the state
- ARRT MRI certification or eligibility
- MRI experience preferred
- Ability to participate in call coverage approximately every 8 weeks, including weekends
- Strong patient care, communication, and teamwork skills
- Ability to work in a hospital setting and comply with credentialing and safety requirements
