Job Summary

We are looking for experienced cooks to join our team! Responsibilities can vary depending on which kitchen position you are applying for as well as years of required experience. Federal wants cooks who you enjoy creating exceptional dining experiences through good, quality food and can manage multiple priorities while working well with a team. You must have a Food Handler’s certification and high healthy and safety sanitation standards. 

Responsibilities

 

• Inspect and clean food preparation areas like equipment, work surfaces, serving areas
• Follow FIFO rules and ensures freshness of food and ingredients by checking quality and following proper storage standards
• Food is consistently prepared to recipes & line builds
• Food is stored and prepared to proper temperatures
• Respond to guest feedback with appropriate urgency and professionalism
• Follows cleaning protocols/checklists at the beginning and end of every shift. 
• Communicates well with other members of the kitchen team and management to ensure food is brought to guests in a timely manner

Qualifications

• Consistent food production
• Attention to detail
• Occasionally able to lift, carry, or pull objects that may be heavy
• Able to prioritize, organize, and manage multiple tasks
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment 
• Works well with others 
• Food Safety Certification
