Responsibilities Managing all phases of the litigation process from investigation, pleadings, and discovery to pre-trial, trial, settlement, and appeal. Drafting and reviewing legal documents including pleadings, discovery requests, and responses, motions, briefs, contracts, and correspondence. Conducting extensive legal research and analysis of laws, regulations, and legal articles to assist in the preparation of case strategies. Representing clients in court, before government agencies, or in private legal matters. Collaborating with legal staff, clients, and other professionals to discuss case details and strategies. Ensuring compliance with all legal standards and regulations. Performing due diligence in legal matters concerning contracts, agreements, and mergers and acquisitions. Qualifications Juris Doctorate (JD) degree from an accredited law school. Licensed to practice in South Carolina. 2+ years of litigation experience, preferably business/commercial Proven background in managing a diverse caseload with multiple clients. Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to articulate legal strategies and complex legal issues clearly and effectively. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail. Proficient in legal research and writing. Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment. High ethical standards and professional integrity.
