Overview

We are seeking a Sr. Full Stack Java Developer to join our team on a contingent basis. In this role, you will consult on complex software engineering initiatives with broad impact and large-scale planning. You will review and analyze multi-faceted, larger-scale, or longer-term software engineering challenges that require in-depth evaluation of multiple factors. Your contributions will be crucial in resolving complex situations that require a solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements. You will also strategically collaborate and consult with client personnel.

Responsibilities

• Consult on complex software engineering initiatives with broad impact.
• Review and analyze multi-faceted software engineering challenges.
• Contribute to the resolution of complex situations requiring a solid understanding of policies and procedures.
• Collaborate strategically with client personnel.
• Support RAPU, Regulatory and Policy Updates.
• Develop full stack Java applications, focusing on Angular UI, REST APIs, and SQL databases.
• Participate in monthly releases and collaborate with development, QA, product, and operations teams.

Education Qualification

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of hands-on experience in Java application development using Java, Spring, Spring MVC, Spring Boot, XML, JSON, RESTful APIs, JDBC, JPA, and Unit Testing frameworks.
• 6+ years of experience developing responsive and scalable user interfaces using Angular.
• 3+ years of experience in SQL Server database development, including query optimization, stored procedures, and data modeling.
• Strong understanding of J2EE architecture, object-oriented design principles, and industry-standard design patterns.
• Proven experience designing, developing, and supporting microservices-based applications.
• Experience implementing and supporting DevSecOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
• Solid understanding of Agile/Scrum software development methodologies.
• Proficiency with JIRA and Confluence for project tracking, documentation, and team collaboration.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively across development, QA, product, and operations teams.

Nice to Have Skills

• 1+ year of experience leveraging AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot, GitHub Copilot Agent, or Devin.
• Knowledge of application monitoring tools such as Dynatrace, AppDynamics, Splunk, Grafana, or similar platforms.
