Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse specializing in Intensive Care to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Float frequently to various units to meet staffing needs including the Bellevue campus and critical care units such as MICU, 4CS, 5 West, and others.
• Provide expert care for critically ill patients with conditions such as respiratory failure, kidney failure, and septic shock in a 20-bed unit.
• Work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team that includes CNAs, care techs, and paramedics to provide patient-centered care.
• Monitor and manage advanced medical equipment and administer continuous IV medications and sedation.
• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and implement interventions for maintaining optimal patient outcomes.
• Adhere to hospital policies and procedures, including the 100% nicotine-free environment requirements.

Qualifications

• BLS certification required; ACLS preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of ICU experience in a large, urban hospital environment required.
• Experience working with a variety of medical and transplant ICU-specific conditions.
• Proficiency in EPIC charting system required.
• Experience with advanced monitoring and management of patients with complex medical conditions.
• Pending Nebraska RN State License accepted, with traveler booked six weeks out if license is not in hand.
