Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact for patients, ensuring their insurance queries are addressed promptly and accurately.
• Collaborate with insurance carriers to verify patient coverage and resolve any discrepancies efficiently.
• Assist patients in understanding their insurance benefits, empowering them to make informed decisions about their dental care.
• Work closely with our Dental Front Desk Patient Care Coordinators to ensure a seamless patient experience from appointment scheduling to billing.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, ensuring all insurance information is correctly documented.
• Proactively identify and address potential issues in the insurance process, enhancing the overall patient experience.
• Communicate effectively with patients and team members, fostering a supportive and welcoming environment for all interactions.

Qualifications

• Experience in dental insurance verification and patient eligibility checks.
• Ability to communicate complex insurance information clearly and empathetically to patients.
• Proven track record of collaborating effectively with front desk and billing teams.
• Strong organizational skills to manage multiple patient inquiries and insurance verifications simultaneously.
• Proficiency in using dental practice management software and insurance portals.
• Ability to engage with insurance carriers to resolve patient benefit queries efficiently.
• Detail-oriented approach to ensure accuracy in patient insurance records and communications.
