Work life balance is important to us. This position works a 9/80 schedule with every other Friday off. We prefer the position to be on‑site 50% or more, though remote work will be considered. Responsibilities Plan, organize, coordinate, and evaluate Configuration Changes and Bill of Material (BOM) impact analysis efforts in support of multiple developmental and production programs within BAE Systems guidelines and U.S. Government specifications. Execute assigned programs within cost and schedule constraints. Establish, maintain, and promote good customer relationships. Coordinate work tasks with customer representatives and ensure customers are informed on status and progress of assigned programs. Contribute to the preparation of project documentation to ensure customer requirements are met. Review documentation and apply knowledge of engineering and manufacturing processes. Analyze proposed changes of product design to determine effect on the BOM. Coordinate modification records for changes and BOM management control. Contribute to the development of policies and standards to ensure team optimization. Provide guidance and training to team members. Ensure CDM efforts meet cost, quality, schedule, and performance requirements. Establish and maintain configuration baselines and associated CSA information. Support the development, delivery, and customer review of program documentation/data deliverables and status accounting updates. Required Education, Experience & Skills High school diploma / GED and 6 years relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience. General understanding of engineering, manufacturing, and operations processes. Ability to understand engineering drawings and determine which parts should be included in Engineering Bills of Material (eBOMs) and Manufacturing Bills of Material (mBOMs). Knowledge or experience with Enterprise Product Data Management System (EPDM) or willingness to learn. Understanding of processes to build and make products such as sub‑assembly, installation, machining, welding, paint, marking, or willingness to learn. Knowledge or experience with Oracle related to Item Masters, Drawing File, Bills of Materials, Routings, or willingness to learn. Good computer skills, with a solid understanding of typical PC applications such as MS Office, Excel, and Word. Attention to detail, coupled with good time‑management and organization skills. Ability to partner and collaborate with company personnel, customers, and suppliers, including effective communication both verbally and in writing. Ability to make decisions using sound judgment while complying with policies, procedures, appropriate principles, and applicable state and federal laws and regulations. Candidates with fewer years of experience may be considered for a more junior role. Preferred Education, Experience & Skills Experience applying industry standards and meeting government requirements. General knowledge of relevant configuration management and design engineering standards, manufacturing processes, and documentation, including military standards such as MIL‑HDBK‑61, MIL‑STD‑31000, SAE EIA‑649, and ASME Y14.100. General awareness of design engineering, manufacturing, material planning, production planning, purchasing principles, and the discipline of CM, including the relationships of these functional areas and their business impacts. Familiarity with PLM, ERP, and Oracle systems. Pay Information Full‑time salary range: $79,365 – $134,921.
