Staff Relations Manager

Responsibilities Providing expert employee relations (ER) guidance and support to managers and staff in Amgen’s Operations function Work a hybrid schedule with a regular on-site presence a minimum of 3 days per week Partner with regional HR Leaders, Business Managers, Compliance, Legal, and other HR Centers of Excellence Protect Amgen values and investigate potential violations of HR policies Provide practical advice and guidance on performance and behaviors management, discipline, involuntary terminations, and workplace accommodations Conduct and document thorough, impartial, and timely HR investigations Prepare clear, concise investigation summaries and supporting documentation Partner with Occupational Health, Benefits, and staff to analyze and respond to reasonable accommodations Track and update cases in the company’s case management system Assist in implementing process improvements, training, and ER best practices Requirements Doctorate degree OR Master’s degree and 2 years of Staff Relations experience OR Bachelor’s degree and 4 years of Staff Relations experience OR Associate’s degree and 8 years of Staff Relations experience OR High School diploma/GED and 10 years of Staff Relations experience Strong Human Resources background with 4+ years of experience in Employee Relations Experience advising on performance management, discipline, and involuntary terminations of employment Knowledge and experience of employment laws and ER practices Experience conducting internal HR investigations Ability to learn and fairly apply company policy, investigation procedures, and regulatory guidelines within scope of duties Strong judgment, discretion, and professionalism in handling complex and confidential matters Proficient in Microsoft Office tools, Teams, Workday, and ER case management systems Flexible working hours due to needs of manufacturing shifts #J-18808-Ljbffr Jobtailor
