Job Category: Academic Staff Employment Type: Regular Job Profile: Outreach Associate NE Job Summary: The 4-H Outreach Support Associate is a part-time position (60-75% FTE, 24-30 hours) working in and throughout St. Croix and Pierce Counties The 4-H Outreach Support Associate will assist with planning, communicating, and organizing 4-H events and activities and building awareness of 4-H outreach programs through marketing to new audiences and helping to provide positive youth development experience to retain new and previous participants in 4-H programs. The position will work closely with the St. Croix County and Pierce County 4-H Program Educators. The individual in this position will also be essential in developing and sustaining community partnerships that support programming. County Location The main office for this position is located in either Ellsworth or Baldwin, WI with a primary programming and support focus in Pierce and St. Croix Counties. In Person It is anticipated this position requires work be performed in-person, onsite, at a designated campus work location. Evening/Weekend Work This position may be required to work occasional nights and weekends to meet the program needs and priorities of the communities served. Compensation: The minimum starting hourly rate for the position is $18.91 per hour but is negotiable based on experience and qualifications. Required Qualifications: Ability to teach interactive lessons to youth and adults in groups settings Strong interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to build and maintain professional work environments Demonstrated ability to effectively work with people from a wide range of backgrounds and perspectives Experience providing administrative, program, event, or office support in a professional setting. Demonstrated ability to organize multiple projects, priorities, and deadlines while maintaining attention to detail. Preferred Qualifications: Experience supporting youth development, educational, community-based, nonprofit, Extension, or volunteer-focused programs Experience working with 4-H, Cooperative Extension, youth organizations, schools, camps, or similar programs. Experience planning, coordinating, or supporting meetings, workshops, trainings, events, or educational programs. Experience using enrollment, registration, event management, or customer relationship management (CRM) systems. Experience creating newsletters, social media content, marketing materials, or website updates.
