Contract | Days | Full-Time | Onsite | 5x8-Hour Shifts (7:00–15:30)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide Phase I PACU, Phase II Recovery, and Pre/Post-operative nursing care in a fast-paced outpatient surgery center setting
• Monitor and manage patients recovering from anesthesia, including those undergoing ophthalmology procedures such as cataract extraction and local pain management cases
• Administer and manage IV therapy with proficiency throughout the perioperative continuum
• Support orthopedic surgical cases including total joint replacement, rotator cuff/ACL repair, and carpal tunnel release procedures
• Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure safe, efficient patient throughput and recovery

Required Qualifications

• Active and valid Registered Nurse (RN) state license required at time of submission
• Minimum 2 years of PACU experience, including Phase I, Phase II, and Pre/Post-operative care
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Demonstrated IV insertion and management proficiency
• Must be able to complete PA fingerprinting requirements within required compliance timelines

Preferred Experience / Skills

• PALS certification preferred
• Orthopedic surgical experience, including total joint replacement, rotator cuff/ACL repair, and carpal tunnel release
• Experience in a high-volume ophthalmology or outpatient surgery center environment
