Job Overview

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Process Engineer to play a crucial role in optimizing our manufacturing processes, improving efficiency, and maintaining the highest quality standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Lean Manufacturing principles, proficiency in CAD software, and expertise in statistical process control.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze and optimize existing manufacturing processes to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and increase productivity
• Develop and implement new processes and procedures to enhance overall manufacturing operations
• Utilize Lean Manufacturing principles to identify and eliminate non-value-added activities
• Design and conduct experiments to test and validate process improvements
• Create and maintain detailed process documentation, including standard operating procedures (SOPs) and work instructions
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve technical issues and implement process improvements
• Use CAD software to design and modify manufacturing equipment and layouts
• Apply statistical process control techniques to monitor and improve product quality
• Identify and implement cost-saving measures throughout the manufacturing process
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and environmental standards
• Train and mentor junior engineers and production staff on process improvements and best practices
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and lead kaizen events
• Analyze production data and generate reports to support decision-making processes
• Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies in manufacturing processes

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in process engineering within a manufacturing environment
• Strong proficiency in Lean Manufacturing principles and methodologies (Six Sigma certification is a plus)
• Expert-level knowledge of CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks)
• Advanced skills in statistical process control and data analysis
• Experience with process simulation and modeling software
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and lead cross-functional projects
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel for data analysis
• Knowledge of industry-specific regulations and standards

Preferred Qualifications

• Six Sigma Black Belt certification
• Experience with automation and robotics in manufacturing processes
• Familiarity with Industry 4.0 concepts and technologies
