What You'll Be Doing:

\n

\n
• Prepare, revise, redline, blackline, and proofread corporate documents including contracts, agreements, transactional documents, compliance materials, closing documents, UCCs, financing and lending documents, and audit letters
\n
• Utilize systems such as Quest and Chrome River to support workflow and expense management
\n
• Assist with pre-closing document assemblies, executed document sets, corporate formation and dissolution documents, and UCC financing statements and amendments
\n
• Prepare shareholder and corporate minutes and maintain corporate record books
\n
• Handle filing procedures and electronic filing with Secretary of State offices and federal, state, and local courts
\n
• Create and maintain client and administrative files in accordance with established procedures and document management practices
\n
• Utilize workflow management systems to manage assignments, maintain an organized workload, and provide support during PTO or peak periods
\n
• Manage attorney calendars, schedule meetings and appointments, coordinate video conferences and conference rooms, and arrange meals as needed
\n
• Enter and release attorney billable time and review billing proformas
\n
• Perform initial conflict checks, open and close client matters, and prepare engagement letters
\n
• Monitor deadlines and coordinate with docketing teams to ensure deadlines are properly entered and met
\n
• Coordinate attorney travel arrangements and track travel expenses for reimbursement
\n
• Provide professional and responsive communication to internal and external clients
\n
• Support additional office and practice group responsibilities as needed
\n

What We're Looking For:

\n

\n
• 2-3 years of corporate legal assistant experience required
\n
• Corporate legal experience in a mid-size or large law firm required
\n
• Must have experience using Best Authority system
\n
• Experience with legal technology and document management systems: including IntApp Time, IntApp Open, Chrome River, Aderant, Interaction, iManage, and Quest
\n
• Proven ability to redline, blackline, proofread, and revise legal documents
\n
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
\n
• Strong customer service skills and a professional approach when interacting with internal and external clients
\n
• Willingness to work occasional overtime or weekends as needed
\n
