About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Medical Surgical/Telemetry Duration: 13 or 26 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 2 years in a large urban hospital required License: Active RN license required Certifications: BLS required; ACLS strongly preferred Must-Have: - 2 years of experience in a large urban hospital. - EPIC charting experience required. - Experience managing drips (no titration). - Recent Level 1 trauma work history is required. - Must be prepared to float frequently to meet staffing needs. - Traveler must have completed assignments within the last year. - Must be 100% nicotine-free. Description: This position involves caring for patients on multiple medical and surgical units. Travelers are prioritized for floating to various units as needed. RNs should have experience in telemetry and be able to manage cardiac drips. The hospital may assign travelers to different units based on their experience. Flexible weekend shifts are required, with a commitment to work 4 weekends out of 8 possible in a 4-week period. Travelers are required to work during two out of three major holidays. RNs are expected to wear designated scrubs while on duty. This role supports patients across diverse units and collaborates with interdisciplinary teams.
