About the Position

TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Med/Surg / Tele RN in Omaha, Nebraska, 68105!

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: MS/Tele Duration: 13 or 26 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years in a large urban hospital License: Active RN license required Certifications: BLS required; ACLS strongly preferred Must-Have: - EPIC charting experience - Experience managing drips - Ability to float within the facility Description: The position involves working in a high-acuity environment with several types of patient units. Travelers will be first to float and must be prepared to frequently adapt to meet staffing needs. Assignments may change depending on traveler experience. Travelers need to expect potential placements in alternative locations within the health system. The facility adheres to a no-nicotine policy. Four weekend shifts are required within an eight-week period, including Friday and Saturday nights. Travelers must be available for two out of three major holidays, including Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year’s. Only travelers who live more than 100 miles from the facility are accepted. Pending licenses are accepted if obtained prior to submission. Scrubs are mandatory, with specific colors and logo requirements. Professional support includes interdisciplinary teams for patient care. Previous experience in a Level 1 trauma facility is critical. Candidates should have a rating of 3 or 4 on an established checklist related to the specialty. This position requires adherence to strict compliance and operational standards. All contracts conclude on Sundays with a work week running from Monday to Sunday. The facility is committed to maintaining a nicotine-free environment.
