Job Title: Quality Inspector Job Description

This intermediate-level position requires a full-time floor inspection presence without management or leadership duties. The Rotorcraft Quality Inspector plays a crucial role in maintaining quality and safety standards, including the return-to-service of maintenance in accordance with 14 CFR Parts 27, 29, 43, 91, 133, 135, and 145 as applicable.

• Assist in maintaining quality and safety standards for rotorcraft maintenance.
• Conduct thorough inspections to identify and correct defects during production or installation.
• Ensure consistent product and service quality to enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty.
• Independently handle routine tasks and manage more complex, specialized assignments.
• Read and interpret blueprints and specifications to ensure compliance with alteration requirements.
• Use diagnostic and specialized measurement equipment proficiently.
• Communicate clearly and effectively with colleagues, customers, and management to prevent maintenance delays and ensure timely deliveries.

• Strong time management, organization, adaptability, communication, and resilience.
• Attention to detail, thoroughness, and accuracy.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Proficiency in using diagnostic and specialized measurement equipment like calipers and micrometers.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Associate degree plus 7 years of experience in aviation-related quality principles, methods, and practices.
• High School Diploma plus 10 years of experience in quality-related principles, methods, and practices.
• 6 years of military equivalent experience applying quality-related principles and practices.
• Consideration for substitution of related education and experience is available, demonstrating the ability to perform essential functions.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Fort Worth, TX.

The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $45.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
