A healthcare organization in Brooklyn is hiring a Scheduling Coordinator to own the referral pipeline end to end every referral worked, every patient booked. The role keeps a close watch on provider calendars, making sure open availability holds steady and following up directly when it doesn't. When capacity runs short, this is the person who flags it and helps bring on additional providers.
Keep the Pipeline Moving
- Schedule patients immediately after every referral comes in
- Confirm scheduling is happening consistently across all providers
Guard the Calendars
- Monitor therapist calendars to ensure adequate open slots stay available
- Follow up with therapists whose open availability is running thin
Add Capacity
- Support the hiring of additional providers when more capacity is needed
Qualifications
- Scheduling experience in a healthcare setting required
- Strong follow-through and attention to detail
- Comfortable coordinating with clinical staff on capacity needs
