Automation Personnel Services is seeking a skilled Door Installation Carpenter for Universal Doors in Birmingham, AL. Pay Rate

$18.00 - $20.00 per hour starting pay

Potential to earn up to $50.00 per hour based on performance, reliability, and demonstrated skill level.

Schedule and Hours

Monday through Friday

7:30 AM - 4:30 PM

Door Installer Carpenter Duties and Responsibilities

• Install residential and commercial doors, frames, and related hardware.
• Measure, prepare, and fit doors to ensure proper alignment and functionality.
• Perform carpentry work associated with door installations and repairs.
• Use hand and power tools safely and effectively.
• Inspect completed installations to ensure quality standards are met.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Communicate professionally with customers, coworkers, and supervisors.
• Represent Universal Doors in a professional manner while on job sites.

Door Installer Carpenter Qualifications and Requirements

• Previous door installation or carpentry experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of basic carpentry techniques and tools.
• Clean driving record required.
• Must be able to pass a background check.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Dependable attendance and strong work ethic.
• Ability to lift and carry 50 pounds or more on a regular basis.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to adapt to job site conditions.
