Pop! Promos is a Philadelphia-based supplier of custom branded merchandise, sold through promotional products distributors across the country. Founded in 2011 on the idea that custom merchandise should be easy to get right ("Custom Made Simple" is still how we describe it today), we've been recognized as one of Philadelphia's fastest-growing companies and named to the Inc. 500 list. We're looking for a Business Development Representative to pick up the phone, get those conversations going with potential clients, and hand our Account Executives meetings they're glad to take.

What you'll do

• Make outbound calls each week to dormant and untapped distributor accounts.
• Ask the kind of questions that surface a real business need: a project, a timeline, a supplier who's letting them down, or a gap we can fill. No reading from a script.
• Qualify each opportunity (need, timeline, decision-maker) before you book it.
• Book qualified meetings every week for our Account Executives.
• Write a short handoff brief for every meeting so the AE walks in already knowing the story.
• Log every call and next step in our CRM as you go.
• Share what you learn about which accounts respond and which don't, so the list keeps getting better.

What you bring

• 1+ years of phone prospecting, appointment setting, or inside sales experience; B2B strongly preferred.
• The energy to carry a high call volume and bounce back from "no" on the next dial.
• Curiosity. You listen more than you pitch.
• Disciplined CRM habits. If it isn't logged, it didn't happen.
• Coachability and an appetite for regular feedback on your calls.
• Promotional products, channel sales, or distributor experience is a plus, not a requirement.
• You're based in or near Philadelphia and are comfortable with a hybrid in-office schedule.

Compensation

• $50,000 base salary plus $30,000 target variable, for an $80,000 on-target income. 

Location/Schedule

• This role is hybrid, based out of our Philadelphia, PA office. We work 3 days in-office and 2 days remote, with flexibility being key.
