Do you love building relationships and creating exceptional guest experiences? We are hiring Bartenders to provide friendly, responsive service to create an exceptional experience for all our guests. Each bartender's primary objective is to show our guests such an excellent experience, they will want to return.  Responsibilities:Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks consistent with the restaurant's standard drink recipesAccept guest payment, process credit card charges, and make change if necessaryCheck identification of guests to verify age requirements for purchase of alcoholClean and sterilize glasses, utensils, and bar equipmentBalance cash receiptsRecord drink orders accurately and immediately enter into the register systemAttempt to limit problems and liability related to guests' excessive drinking by taking steps such as persuading guests to stop drinking or arranging transportation for intoxicated guestsStock bar with beer, wine, liquor, and related supplies such as ice, glassware, napkins, or strawsPresent drink menus, make recommendations, and answer questions regarding beverages, especially our winesTake beverage orders from serving staff and directly from guests seated at the barClean bars, work areas, and tablesMix ingredients, such as liquor, soda, water, sugar, and bitters, to prepare cocktails and other drinksServe snacks or food items to guests seated at the barSlice and pit fruit, and prepare other garnishes for drinksAsk guests who become loud and obnoxious to leave, or contact management to do soArrange and maintain bottles and glasses in an attractive and functional manner to support efficient drink preparation, promotion of beverages, and attractive displaysMaintain cleanliness in all areas of the bar including counters, sinks, utensils, shelves and storage areasRecognize and learn the names of regular guestsAssist the restocking and replenishment of bar inventory and suppliesReport all equipment problems and bar maintenance issues to the restaurant managerAttend all scheduled employee meetings and offers suggestions for improvementCoordinate with and assist fellow employees to meet guests' needs and support the operation of the restaurantFill-in for fellow employees where needed to ensure guest service standards and efficient operationsPlan, organize, and control the operations of barHelp complete prep work for the kitchenCreate drink recipesLearn all aspects of Folino Estate wine and have the ability to walk a guest through a tasting as well as provide information and exemplary serviceProvide guests with information about Folino Estate, local areas, including giving directions Requirements:Basic knowledge of dining room and service procedures and functionsBasic knowledge of wine serviceBasic mathematical skillsAble to communicate effectivelyAble to handle money and operate a point-of-sale systemEighteen years of age or older; ability to pass RAMP trainingAble to work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 8 hours)Able to safely lift and easily maneuver trays of food and containers weighing up to 25 poundsBenefits/Perks:Flexible schedulesCompetitive compensation packageMedical insurance optionsCompany dining programClear path for growth and career advancement
