Key Responsibilities

• Assist licensed physical therapists in developing and implementing individualized treatment programs tailored to the specific needs of each patient.
• Provide hands-on patient care, which includes guiding therapeutic exercises, applying various manual therapy techniques, and utilizing modalities such as heat, cold, and electrical stimulation to enhance rehabilitation outcomes.
• Monitor patient progress meticulously and document findings to ensure effective communication within the care team, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans based on patient response.
• Educate patients and their families about therapeutic exercises, at-home care regimes, and injury prevention strategies to foster independence and enhance recovery.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In your role as a PTA at Phyxable PT, you will primarily work with patients recovering from orthopedic injuries, surgical interventions, and various musculoskeletal conditions. Qualifications

• Assumed educational prerequisite: a Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy Assistance from an accredited program.
• A valid Physical Therapy Assistant license in the state of Florida is mandatory.

Compensation and Benefits
