Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients to assess their physical abilities, impediments, and goals for rehabilitation.
• Design and implement personalized treatment plans that utilize evidence-based physical therapy interventions such as manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and modalities tailored to individual patient needs.
• Work closely with collaborating physicians and healthcare providers to ensure seamless care and communication regarding each patient's progress.
• Educate patients and their families on their treatment pathways, including exercises they can perform at home and strategies for preventing recurrences of their conditions.
• Maintain accurate and timely records of patient treatment progress, ensuring compliance with clinic standards and regulatory requirements.
• Engage in regular team meetings to discuss patient outcomes, share insights, and contribute to our ongoing quality improvement initiatives.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The patients at our clinic primarily present with orthopedic conditions that range from post-surgical rehabilitation to chronic pain management. We serve a diverse clientele, including athletes recovering from sports injuries, individuals with joint replacements, and seniors seeking to regain mobility. Your role will involve tailoring care strategies to address a wide variety of orthopedic conditions while emphasizing each patient's unique recovery goals.

Qualifications

• Valid Florida Physical Therapy license is required.
• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited university is mandatory.
• Strong foundational knowledge of therapeutic modalities, patient assessment protocols, and rehabilitation techniques.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, allowing you to connect and build rapport with patients, families, and colleagues.

Preferred Experience

• Minimum of 2 years of outpatient orthopedic experience is preferred, though new graduates are encouraged to apply.

Compensation and Benefits
