Position Title Research Assistant; Biological Sciences_Aneesha Location Woodward Hall Employment Type Temporary – Full‑time Schedule 8:00 am – 5:00 pm; MondaytoFriday Hours Per Week 40 Pay Rate $17 per hour Required Education & Experience MS in Applied Physiology or a closely related field (degree must be completed before the official start date). Demonstrated scientific judgment in physiology research, including ability to evaluate experimental data, literature, and oral communications to guide next steps. Background in muscle biology, exercise physiology, and a willingness to learn molecular biology techniques and muscle‑biology literature. Duties and Responsibilities Learn and apply lab‑related molecular biology techniques. Keep current with scientific literature and relevant scientific knowledge. Maintain laboratory reagents and inventory. Contribute actively to lab projects. Benefits Temporary staff employees are ineligible for benefits (leave, health coverage, state‑service credit, etc.) but are covered by Worker's Compensation provisions.
