Your Role - What You'll Accomplish

• Conduct both routine and sophisticated clinical lab tests-including chemistry, hematology, and immunology-adhering to established protocols.
• Evaluate results for precision, troubleshoot any discrepancies, and carry out preventative maintenance and calibration on laboratory equipment.
• Support specimen collection efforts and prepare samples as necessary for testing.
• Thoroughly document all procedures, mentor new colleagues or trainees, and contribute to maintaining the highest lab quality standards.
• Uphold a tidy and safe workspace while ensuring all regulatory and accreditation requirements are met.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or a related allied health degree; plus ASCP/AMT certification preparation.

Certifications

• ASCP or AMT Board Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) is expected to be obtained within your first year of employment.
• Continual maintenance of certification throughout your career is required.
