Job Opportunity – Pediatric PeriAnesthesia Nurse – Virginia

Start Date: October 12, 2026

Location: Central Virginia

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: 13-week assignment, night shift, every other weekend and every other holiday

Highlights:

• Specialized 10-bed pediatric preoperative and postoperative unit with a 4-bed Pediatric Surgical Observation Unit (PSOU)
• Provide care for pediatric patients requiring overnight observation or extended recovery (up to 23 hours) following surgery
• Epic EMR experience required
• Level I Trauma Center experience required
• 24 hours of orientation provided
• Up to 40 hours of approved time off available during contract

Requirements:

• Valid Virginia RN license (pending licenses accepted, must be in hand by Wednesday before start date)
• Current ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience
• Level I Trauma Center experience required
• Epic charting system experience required
• Previous charge experience preferred
• Flu vaccination required (no exemptions)
• Must reside outside 50-mile radius of the facility
