Data Analyst Senior

Data Analyst SeniorAll candidates must be either a US Citizen or hold a Permanent Resident Card as well as be a direct W-2 employee to our vendors. The Data Analyst will work on a Modern Delivery Team directly supporting the Product Owner and core agile team in gathering requirements, completing research and analysis using SQL or SAS. Additional Responsibilities:Analyze data quality issues: profiling, analyzing, identifying proper data sources using SQLMove product towards desired end state by gaining an understanding of identified issues and the data environment then analyzing data to recommend a solution to Product Owner, Scrum Master, and developersWork independently and assertively with minimal direction to identify root cause of data issuesAbility to translate findings to presentation format, and present to internal and external stakeholdersStrong communication skills to efficiently work with necessary business areas and translate complex data into business languagePreferred Skills:Data analyticsData QualityDesigningCodingReportingTestingExpertise in:SQL or SASDatabases (Sybase, Oracle or UDB)Microsoft Office tools (Access, Excel, Power Point, Word)Required Skills: Must Haves: SQL or SAS, previous experience supporting business or corporate environments, experience with data mining and analytics.
