SAP Project Manager

NTT Data Business Solutions SAP Project Manager is responsible for managing successful project delivery and customer satisfaction for Field Consulting clients. The role plans, directs, and manages the delivery of SAP implementation projects, reviews proposals to define scope and goals, creates and maintains project plans and timelines, prepares weekly status reports, coordinates project personnel, monitors progress against scope, and ensures quality through test plans and pilot testing. Key Responsibilities Project Quality Assurance, Profitability and Reporting Establish credibility with clients as trusted advisor Improve methodology approaches and supporting tools Facilitate weekly project reviews with clients Estimate and plan projects Directly manage one or more projects Allocate resources and balance load to deliver projects Ensure consistent delivery and maintain profitability targets Provide backlog and forecast to Engagement Manager Ensure customer satisfaction and account management Build professional relationships with client decision makers Create an environment of extreme customer focus within the team Make decisions on conflicting customer priorities Advocate for customers within NTT DATA Business Solutions Respond to and resolve customer escalations in a timely manner Drive renewal and expansion of contractual relationships Lead teams, educate consultants on value propositions, and contribute to methodology deployment Mentor new and existing employees to support growth objectives Contribute to the effective development of consultants Advocate for consultants and align resources with client needs Leverage cross‑group resources to deliver work Requirements / Qualifications Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Information Technology or related field. 5 years of experience as a Project Manager on ERP implementations, including at least 4 years managing cross‑functional SAP implementations. Experience across the entire application and across multiple full‑lifecycle implementations in various industries. Minimum of one S/4 HANA or one cloud project implementation. Ability to lead strategic workshops with clients. Strong project management skills. Preferred Requirements Advanced degree. Project Management training and certification.
