Registered Nurse - Acute Trauma MedSurg - PRN Tier Plan

This role involves providing independent nursing care in a clinical setting, demonstrating competency in assessing, diagnosing, planning, intervening, and evaluating patient needs. Responsibilities Include Meeting competency expectations related to leadership and professional practice. Administering medications and treatments following protocols, monitoring side-effects, and evaluating effectiveness. Documenting patient history, symptoms, medications, and care provided. Assessing and addressing psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and families. Providing education to patients, families, and caregivers, and identifying their learning needs and resources. Qualifications And Skills Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred. At least 1 year of related nursing experience preferred. Current RN license in the state of employment or a compact license. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required. Additional details include flexible scheduling, tiered pay rates based on shifts, and shift differentials for nights and weekends.
