**Exciting Opportunity for a Radiation Therapist - Full Time Days!** **Job Description:** - **Position**: Radiation Therapist - **Shift**: Full Time, Monday-Friday, 8am-4:30pm - **Experience Required**: Minimum of 2 years in radiation therapy - **Certifications**: BLS/BCLS required; ARRT license preferred **Why You’ll Love This Role:** - Work in a patient-centered environment with a focus on compassionate care. - Enjoy a consistent daytime schedule — no weekends, no call! - Collaborate with a dedicated team and utilize advanced technology including Truebeam/Aria. - Opportunity for continued professional growth through education and training. **Key Responsibilities:** - Perform radiotherapy procedures as prescribed by physicians, adhering to established practices. - Provide comprehensive patient care, ensuring comfort and understanding of treatment plans. - Prepare and operate radiation therapy equipment safely and efficiently. - Maintain accurate documentation and communicate effectively with healthcare team members. - Monitor patient reactions during treatment and provide support as needed. - Collaborate with physicists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes. **Qualifications:** - **Education**: Associate’s degree in radiography with a certification in radiation therapy required. Bachelor’s degree preferred. - Graduate of a JRCERT approved school and registered through ARRT in Radiation Therapy. - **Licensure**: Must hold a state of Ohio licensed radiation therapist certification. - **Experience**: Minimum of 1-2 years of relevant radiation therapy experience is preferred. - **Skills**: Strong interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
