School Speech Language Pathologist - Palm City, Florida

Job Description Embark on a dynamic contract opportunity supporting students as a Speech-Language Pathologist in a school setting near Palm City, FL. This assignment offers a meaningful way to use your skills with a Pre-K through 8th grade caseload in a resource therapy role. You'll work on-site at a single campus, providing high-impact services two days per week. Key Qualifications: Current and active Florida Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) license required Experience providing SLP support in a school environment, particularly with Pre-K through 8th grade populations Proficient in conducting evaluations, developing treatment plans, and delivering individualized therapy Familiarity with or completion of school-based credentialing processes, including district fingerprinting (candidates with prior ACHA Clearinghouse fingerprinting may have expedited onboarding) Commitment to working on-site; remote work is not available for this assignment Responsibilities: Deliver speech and language therapy services to a diverse group of students, spanning Pre-K resource therapy through 8th grade Serve as the sole SLP on campus, working collaboratively with educators, administrators, and families Conduct assessments, develop and implement IEP goals, and document student progress Provide consultations and recommendations to support staff to enhance student outcomes Maintain compliance with all state and district protocols and timelines Attend and participate in relevant school meetings as required This contract runs from as soon as possible through June 1, 2027, with a consistent schedule totaling 14 hours each week.
