This full-time, onsite contract role focuses on delivering hands-on assistance in a supportive educational environment. You’ll work alongside dedicated professionals to foster student independence and success—every day presents the chance to change lives.

There are immediate openings for five compassionate and capable Life Skills Aides across two school campuses, with positions available at both a high school and middle school. Candidates with a background as a Behavior Technician are also encouraged to apply for the middle school roles.

What We’re Looking For:

• Current Texas Educational Aide Certificate (required)
• Professional experience working in a life skills or special needs classroom
• Willingness and skill to assist with personal care needs, including toileting
• Experience managing varying behaviors in a school setting
• Strong communication, teamwork, and adaptability
• Enthusiasm for fostering inclusive, supportive learning environments

What You’ll Do:

• Provide one-on-one and small group assistance to students in life skills programs
• Support teachers in managing classrooms and maintaining a positive learning atmosphere
• Address individual student needs, including behavior intervention and personal care
• Contribute to Individualized Education Plan (IEP) implementation
• Support daily routines, encourage independence, and participate in student activities
• Maintain accurate student records and communicate regularly with the educational team
