Lead Software Engineer

A client of Insight Global's is looking to hire a Lead Software Engineer to drive technical excellence, mentor team members, and support the success of our software development initiatives. The ideal candidate will possess a blend of strong technical expertise, leadership skills, and a collaborative mindset. Proficiency in software architecture, development, and Agile methodologies is essential, along with the ability to design, implement, and maintain robust, scalable software solutions. Applicants should have experience with C#, JavaScript, HTML, Cloud, DevOps, Automation, Agile methodologies, software architecture, and design. The role is hybrid/onsite in the Tampa Bay area.

Required Skills & Experience
• Bachelor's degree in a computer-related field or at least 10 years of relevant experience in Software Engineering. - 20 years
• Proficiency in C#, JavaScript, HTML, Cloud, DevOps, Automation, Agile methodologies, software architecture, and design.
• Strong technical and people leadership skills, with the ability to influence and support team success.
• Ability to come onsite for a hybrid role.


Nice to Have Skills & Experience
• Experience with Azure, Azure Cloud Resource Usage, message-passing architecture concepts, and Dev Containers.
• A strong understanding of API and service design principles.
• Familiarity with machine learning (ML), artificial intelligence (AI), and large language models (LLMs) for potential integration into software solutions.
• Familiarity with supply chain systems is a plus.
